Since its establishment in 1972, by the current Managing Director Malcolm Lycett, polythene manufacturers and packaging stockists, Polymac, has endeavoured to prioritise excellence in customer services, quality and price.  With over 40 years experience of manufacturing polythene materials and products, the company can boast a wealth of experience in all packaging requirements and applications.

As one of the leading manufacturers of polythene lay flat tube and polythene bags, Polymac can produce these items either as standard ‘off the shelf’ size or specifically tailored to meet customer’s individual requirements, either as clear, coloured or overprinted.  They also place great emphasis on their management, manufacturing, quality control and traceability systems to ensure they are first class and have successfully achieved an ISO9001:2000 accreditation.

Polymac are well placed by having the right capabilities to supply both small and large quantities, unlike many other larger companies in the packaging industry.  They also offer a ‘call off order’ system which enables customers to take advantage of ordering larger quantities, at competitive prices, and calling off over several deliveries.  Polymac have offered this service as an option which is more economical than placing weekly or monthly repeat orders.  To further meet their customer’s needs, Polymac transport products in their own vehicles within a 50 mile radius, twice a week.

In addition to the range of services they offer, Polymac are also stockists and suppliers of all general packaging materials and can collect scrap polythene from their customers, which is then baled and sent away to be recycled.  They also buy and refurbish packaging machinery, such as harndens, steiglars, woodbanks, madeleys and dolcis for future sale.  With the wide range of services that Polymac offer their customers they are going from strength to strength.

Polymac currently have land and premises for sale and to let.  Located on the Stambermill Industrial Estate, Timmis Road, Lye, Stourbridge the company have two sites available.  Site 1 is of approximately 21,000 sq ft with adjoining land of approximately 0.7 of an acre.  With parking to the front and side, the site has CCTV, alarm and is fully sprinkled.  The site could feasibly be split into 6 units.  Polymac also has another site which occupies a prominent corner position.  Site 2 covers 25,500 sq ft on a 1.1 acre site made up of 1-9 units.  The site is self-enclosed, consisting of 3 units, and poses an excellent development or investment opportunity.
